I know I haven't updated in a while, but this was too dope to not post up. I love when my favorite artists cover other favorite artists.

Nas & Jr. Gong are at it again!
It's no surprise that Nas & Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley are a dangerously dope duo. We been knowing this ever since '05 when Marley released "Road To Zion" off his album Welcome To Jamrock. Good news! The two are set to release a collaborative album together entitled Distant Relatives.

Of the two singles that have leaked, my personal favorite is "As We Enter," what I feel is a balance between "Hip Hop is Dead" and the Christina Aguilera X DJ Premier track "Ain't No Other Man." (Listen to it and you'll see what I mean.)
You can download "As We Enter" HERE.
And HERE is the link for the other single, "Strong Will Continue."
I don't know about you, but I am definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of this album.

Wu-Tang X The Beatles
Raekwon had posted this link earlier today via his Twitter account. It's basically a bunch of "Wu acapellas over beats made with samples of Beatles songs." It's pretty dope, my favorite mash-up would have to be #3 ODB's "Got Your Money" set over "You Never Give Me Your Money." If you happen to be a Wu fan as well as a Beatles fan, I think you'd enjoy this.

You can download the album HERE.
Take a listen and let me know what you think.

What in the..?
Is it me or is Diddy milking this "Dirty Money" thing for all it's worth? Did you ever think you would see these artists sharing the same stage? This was at the Mos Def/Jay Electronica show last night at the Highline Ballroom, Jay's "Exhibit C" with P. Diddy, Talib Kweli & Mos Def!

Hot damn, New$ense!
Check out my homie, Newsense, from Miami's own ArtOfficial, spittin' straight fiya! ArtOfficial is dropping their mixtape, "The Payback" in March so keep your eyes & ears peeled to the skreets! And from what I've heard, they're also in the process of working on their second album. If you don't know, ya better ask somebody!

"I don't speak your freaky-deaky Dutch"
Can I be frank?
I don't give a shit about the Olympics. Sure, I'll watch it when gymnastics is on, but other than that I don't necessarily partake or care for any of the excitement/hype/quest for world domination that the Olympics embodies.
However, there is one thing I share in common with all Olympic athletes... the love for GOLD!
I mean let's be serious, if there is anything more exciting than winning world supremacy through competitive sports, it's sneakers containing the best color/chemical element/precious metal known to man.
That being said, check out this year's 'Nike Dunk Hi - Olympic.'

Both colorways are reminiscent of the 2004 release of the Jordan VII's:

Is it too late to resolute to have the largest collection of gold sneakers?

The Clipse X Black Thought
A classic joint by The Clipse with 'Riq Trotter thrown in the mix. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Black Thought is a lyrical beast!
P.S. I've defended Jimmy Fallon from the get, but dude needs some help. Not. Funny. He just seems anxious all the time and doesn't know what to do with himself. The Roots are pretty much carrying his show right now.
(Thanks to my buddy, the Pelican for linking this earlier today)
